Configuration Procedure For PSKFQU-008003 (Satellite L875D)

The following procedure MUST be completed EVERY TIME you replace the system board.

These configuration instructions are unique to the Toshiba Satellite L875D having Model-Part Number, "PSKFQU-008003". You must verify that the Model Part Number for the unit you're configuring is "PSKFQU-008003".

Configuration Instruction

NOTE: The AC power adapter must be connected when entering DMI / Type 11 information.

1. Boot the T&D media.
2. Select the option to R/W DMI.
3. Select the option to Write Manufacture. Type Toshiba then press Enter. Press any key to continue.
4. Select the option to Write Product Name. Type Satellite L875D then press Enter. Press any key to continue.
5. Select the option to Write Version. Type PSKFQU-008003 then press Enter. Press any key to continue.
6. Select the option to Write Number. Type the serial number from the unit label then press Enter. Press any key to continue.
7. Select the option to Write Type11. Type PSKFQU-008003,TI10657700C,134T2 then press Enter. Press any key to continue.
8. Select the option to Return to the Test Program Menu.
9. Exit T&D.
10. Boot the T&D media.
11. Select the option to R/W DMI.
12. Select the option to Read DMI and verify the entries are correct.
13. Press any key to Return to the R/W DMI Menu.
14. Select the option to Read Type 11 and verify the OEM string entry is correct.
15. If all entries are correct, DMI entry is complete. Exit T&D and boot to Windows.
