Configuration Procedure For PSAY3U-04601F (Satellite P755)

The following procedure MUST be completed EVERY TIME you replace the system board.

These configuration instructions are unique to the Toshiba "Satellite P755" having Model-Part Number, "PSAY3U-04601F". You must verify that the Model Part Number for the unit you're configuring is "PSAY3U-04601F".

Configuration Instruction

1. Boot the T&D media.
2. Select the option to Write DMI.
3. Select the option to Write Product, then press Enter. Type Satellite P755, then press Enter. Press Y.
4. Select the option to Write Serial, then press Enter. Type in the serial number from the unit label, then press Enter. Press Y.
5. Select the option to Write Version. Type PSAY3U-04601F then press Enter. Press Y.
6. Select the option to Write OEM String. Type PSAY3U-04601F,TI10633200C,13LT1 then press Enter. Press N.
7. Exit T&D.
8. Boot the T&D media.
9. Select the option to Read DMI and verify the entries are correct.
10. If all entries are correct, DMI entry is complete. Exit T&D and boot to Windows.
