Configuration Procedure For PLL50U-01S008 (mini Notebook NB505)

The following procedure MUST be completed EVERY TIME you replace the system board.

These configuration instructions are unique to the Toshiba "mini Notebook NB505" having Model-Part Number, "PLL50U-01S008". You must verify that the Model Part Number for the unit you're configuring is "PLL50U-01S008".

Configuration Instruction

1. Boot the T&D media.
2. Select the option to Write DMI.
3. Select the option to Write Product, then press Enter. Type mini Notebook NB505, then press Enter. Press Y.
4. Select the option to Write Serial, then press Enter. Type in the serial number from the unit label, then press Enter. Press Y.
5. Select the option to Write Version. Type PLL50U-01S008 then press Enter. Press Y.
6. Select the option to Write OEM String. Type PLL50U-01S008,TI106036W0F,13G61 then press Enter. Press N.
7. Exit T&D.
8. Boot the T&D media.
9. Select the option to Read DMI and verify the entries are correct.
10. If all entries are correct, DMI entry is complete. Exit T&D and boot to Windows.
